Ongoing updates for the Save Nerd Love 2009 campaign.

Safe to say that this entire project was a success. Still going through the photos and so forth that have been sent in, but in the meantime, here are some pics of the happy Nerdmance as it blossomed in SDCC 2009. Will post more as I have them. Enjoy!

Mon/Tues [Post-con] Recap:

Molly has been successfully shipped off to her home in Idaho. From their tweets, I think the spark of Nerd Love has been lit. I am expecting some more info from Carl later this week, as well as photos to finish coming in. I will post them as soon as I have them. Thanks everyone for all the support and help. I think you just made the whole year for these two kids. Cheers.
Thurs & Fri [con] Updates:
Prepping for con has put updating the site on hold for the rest of the weekend. April December and I are on our way to join the throbbing throngs in San Diego ourselves, and will be meeting with Carl and Molly and everyone else. We’ll be bringing our camera as well, and will update (with pics!) as soon as we get back (likely to be sometime Sun late). For everyone in attendance or planning to venture down this weekend, have a great time and if you get a chance, stop by Table c04 to see Carl and Molly.
The last I heard, Molly is still on schedule to fly in this evening (Fri) and should be on the showroon floor tomorrow as planned. Sadly, the kids weren’t able to get her out sooner so they could attend Nerd Prom together. Maybe there will be something else that can take its place tonight or tomorrow night? Let’s cross our fingers.

Also, I will not be checking my twitter or email after 5pm today (PST) but will be udating my twitter throughout the weekend. I’m also sure that Molly & Carl will be as well. DM’s should still get through if you need to get ahold of any of us.
Wed [Pre-con] Updates:
Mr. Carl Jansson has arrived safe and sound to Comic-con and is currently getting situated. If all has gone as planned, he will be available at Table C04 (Should be to the right of the Small Press Pavilion near the restrooms on the far side of the exhibitor floor if I’m reading the map correctly) throughout the duration of the convention, beginning bright and early tomorrow morning.
As of my last conversation with Carl, Molly is set to arrive Fri afternoon/evening. There maybe a slight chance that she’ll be able to make it earlier, unlikely that it will be in time for NerdProm2099 sadly, as it seems that even though we hoped to do it sometime Thurs night, it may not be practical. But there is still hope… it’s not over yet. Will post with further updates when we have them.
Also, a new email has been set up for anyone wishing to share comments or photos regarding SaveNerdLove2009, Carl and Molly and the Con etc. IF you have anything to share, go ahead and send it on over to:

I’ll be keeping tabs on that email over the next several days and will be posting as fast as I can to this particular page. Please do note that Friday Evening through Sat (all day & night) I will not be able to post anything fom the SaveNerdLove inbox at that time. Both April December and I will be on-site though at the convention, and will hopefully be there in time to make it to my signing at SLG on Sat morning. Otherwise we will also be checking in with Carl on Sat at his table, where we will get a chance to meet Miss Molly McIsaac as well.
